Application:

For the control of certain grasses and broadleaf weeds in cotton and non-crop areas. The herbicide is predominantly used in turf, sugar cane and cotton crops. Common usage in sugar cane crops include directed spraying when grass weeds have grown as well as the crop, and spot spraying of problem grasses. Common usage in cotton crops includes spraying when cotton is 7-8 cm high and before first bloom to control specific weeds. For best results apply under hot dry conditions when air temperatures exceed 25^oC. As spray is absorbed through the foliage thorough spray coverage is essential. Weeds should begin to yellow within 10 days of application

General Instruction:

Mixing: Half fill the spray tank with water and add the required amount of product with the agitator running. Finish filling the spray tank with water while continuing agitation avoid storing spray solution in spray tanks overnight or over prolonged periods.

Band spraying: always calibrate the spray equipment before each spraying. Check that spray nozzles are not worn or blocked to avoid erratic spray application. Ensure spray nozzles are spaced correctly and set at a height above rows to give the desired spray band width; e.g. for a 300 mm band, mix 3.5 litres of product in 330 litres of water and calibrate for a sprayed hectare volume of 125 litres of spray solution. Do not apply by misting machine.
